ESJ coach in hot water again

Coach Dautrieve once again spoke in public about his team and school and stirred up a hornet's nest. He talked about the state of the community, the kids poor academics, and the family backgrounds and now the black school board members want him fired. The sad part is much of what he said was fact, but in today's super sensitive world you can't speak the truth.

He can bitch all he wants, he didn't have much fun coaching a bunch of white kids for 4 years. Sounds like he wanted to make some improvements for the kids but went about it in the wrong way. The board is hilarious though because they said he didn't make any positive comments instead of focusing on the things that need to be done. Idiots.

In his speech, Dauterive talks about the challenges of being "a white coach coaching 100 percent black children."
"You have to understand that when I look at those birth certificates every year that I have to send in and you see the name of the father with just asterisks - no name - and the name of the mother and age 15, 16 at birth - the kid's birth, the mom was 15 years old - so you do the math," he says.
"What they have to do is they have to go get a job, quit school, can't read, consequently they go to McDonald's and work for $7 an hour to support their child and when the child gets here the child can't read, so we're in an endless cycle."
so other than this being a truth in today's society, what's actually the problem with what he said?

What he said was true, and if he said those things and then pointed out how his program has helped these guys to break the cycle, then it's all good.
Clearly, the people who weren't at the speech are taking his words out of context.

Perfect example of the world we live in today. The man speaks the truth and is condemned for it. I'm sure if it was a black coach, he would be getting praised for speaking out and it would be seen as him reaching out. But whitey has no right to talk about it whether it is the truth or not.

Probably should be on the political board, but I saw this last night as well and thought it was a pile of PC crap. All these race mongers want to look into comments and make them more than what they are. The only thing these people are doing is ruining the case for anyone when a legitimate case of racism occurs.
People really need to take a stand and show that this BS won't be tolerated.
