Are you also against all live performances? Plays, concerts?
We have movies and stereos so why would anyone need to see any live performance of anything ever?
Why does anyone even need to be at the game? They could just play it at a secret remote location and we could all watch in the air conditioning.

Don't get me wrong, the band has its moments...I still get chills when I hear Pregame and "those four notes," but other than that, I could honestly care less. I know people have this undying for love for the band, but I've never really understood the fascination.

I,m with you on this. I say we get the best sound system money can buy and add some lasers and light effects like halftime as this year's super bowl. Let's really get the house rockin. We can easily play all the pre recorded band tunes over the system that would sound 100 times better than the actual band

I like it, lets be the first stadium to takt the college football experience truly to the next level, hell we can spell "LSU" on the field with lasers and crap without freeloading band kids and still have explosions and smoke and rock

I don't even like LSU that much and even I get excited when I hear the pregame. Bottom line: The band is a part of tradition. It's helps create the atmosphere. I hate when people don't pay attention to the band. I'm not a band member, I just think it really rude that people don't sit and watch the band. The band works DAMN HARD to perfect their craft. I'm not a band member but I do know that they too sacrifice a lot to do what they do. It's always pissed me off that people don't appreciate these students and their work. How fricking rude.
