...Russell Shepard would be our starting QB. There's no doubt he would if Rich Rod were coach. After seeing Taylor Martinez put up 241 yds. rushing Thurs. night, it makes me wonder what if? Of course that drastic a change can't be made in the middle of a season, but as much as LSU likes to have JJ run with the ball, I wish the coaches would have given serious consideration to Shep. at QB during the spring. It seems the most dynamic offenses in the nation this year have those types of players at QB. You even see Urban Meyer trying to help his O that way with Trey Burton.

And you have Spencer Ware too! Maybe they'll look at the possibility for next season.

I think lee would be our qb and he would be better than he is now bc he would be coached up to his potential

If Pelini was our coach we'd have a shot at winning it all.

Maybe. The running QB plan is def working for him in Nebraska though. Pelini is a great coach

i don't think Pelini has anything to do with the offense at Nebraska except wanting a run first offense.

Miles is supposed to be a coach with an offense background. Sad that he is unable to properly handle his "specialty" area.

Every recruit we have put up big numbers against "high school defenses". What's your point?

I would imagine our offense would be better by default, but I'm not sure our defense would be as good. Chavis has this team ready on defense, and I'm not sure that Pelini was quite as good. Now, please keep in mind that I'm a little biased. One of the last memories I have of LSU's D under Bo was the Arkansas game. (The meltdown moment being when Bo dialed up a 3 man rush on Casey Dick on 4th down.)
