Hadn't weighed myself since around Thanksgiving, so happily not too far off course after a few cheats. I think I was around 218-219 back then

I was able to pull in the reins since Sunday but couldn't get it to 238 or 237 this morning,
Either way, avg 2lbs a week hopefully I can get down 10lbs for the month of Jan.

Still at 197. Need to eat better. These fricking apple cinammon rice cakes are delicious though.

Loving my diet this time around. Its well balanced and I don't feel like I'm giving up anything I really want, food or booze. I don't eat much junk food, and I still drink 2-3 beers on the weekend and several more whiskeys, but I can enjoy myself. I still eat out one lunch a week and the gf and I still eat out for dinner once a week, but we stay reasonable with our orders.. And its working.

Im back on the wagon again after falling off for six months. From Jul.14 to Apr.15 I went from 255 to 187 and then maintained for four months. Then I went on a binge eating and drinking spree from Jul. 15 to Dec. 15.
New year, new goals.

I'll give this a try. I definitely don't expect to keep up this pace but I hope to just lose some weight each week.

Best goal to have. It took me a year to lose 53 pounds. It was "easy" at first. It got harder as I went along.
Key is to not get discouraged when you don't drop in a given weight or if you gain.
You will be super proud of yourself in a year.

Thanks. I would love to lose 53 lbs this year. I'm off to a good start so far. I just need to carry the momentum forward and find the time to work out more.

Did you just stop working out too? And how did you lose the weight in the first place? Super strict diet?

Yeah stopped eating right and stopped working out. Diet was just counting calories, and keeping my macronutrients in check. In addition I also ran religiously and ran 4 half marathons in 4 months.
Running is what I have started doing again to keep me motivated. Once I get my weight back where I want it, I'll hit the gym again.

Might as well join in on the fun. Gained a little extra weight in 2015 and have been trying to get myself right again. Been going good for just over three weeks.

Yeah I think I've got the maintaining part down so that doesn't happen to me but who knows.

270/263/170. I'm staying on pace of two pounds a week, roughly. right where I want to be.
