Almost back to pre weekend weight. Many good things from yesterday. Ran 4 miles and set a new PR for that distance with an average pace of 7:40/mile. Received my official acceptance letter for the Boston Marathon. The most exciting news of the day is Mrs. lsucm10 is expecting. Should be able to confirm that by the end of the week. If you know who I am IRL. Keep that last piece of info to yourself for the time being.

Put on a couple yesterday but I'm not surprised. Diet has been spot on. No cheats in five weeks. But I started lifting last week (first time in almost a decade) and my appetite responded. I freaking ate all day yesterday. 3 boiled eggs, 1.5 brats, 8 oz. of sirloin, big can of tuna with mayo, cabbage casserole...all during the day. Pulled pork and a big arse salad for dinner.
I know it will start to fall again but I'm ready to get sub 195.

Slow start to diet process offset by news that a) I have an immediate job prospect and b) its in NOLA, potentially completing the entire purpose of me moving to Houston in the first place. That would be an epic win.
Cleaned out my bottle of Chianti and the rest of my carb-heavy food yesterday, today is a new day. About to run to the store to pick up some chickens, eggs, and veggies. Crisp them chickens on the grill then toss them on the smoker, going to make chicken salad for dinner and a fritatta for lunch.

Finally got my mind right and had a come to Jesus meeting with my scale this morning. Not as bad as I thought. I have been nursing a groin injury for the past 3-4 weeks and have done plenty of sympathy eating. I've decided my weekend drinking and overeating to cure hangovers is creating too much weight gain so I'm going to abstain. I had a nice 20 min spin on the bike ystdy and the groin feels pretty good today. Back on track

Back on track. 2 mile run yesterday for speed work. Broke the 7:00 minute mark for the first time since CC in high school. Very pleased with that. Everything is going great, now only if my job didn't suck, things would be perfect.

But then it also turned out to be office B-Day Day! Instead of a million cakes, we just do birthdays every quarter.
