I'm sure most of you saw what Turner/Snelling did to the Saints defense on Sunday. The D was so worn out they could barely get out of their stances by the 4th quarter.

At this point, I'm done caling for JL... It most likely is never going to happen. It looks like we are stuck with JJ, so my biggest complaint is that he is being asked to do things he simply can't do, and one of them is throwing the ball accurately...

All I ask is that we use this bruising power running back with good speed that we have and we might be able to give AL, FL, and especially ARK some trouble. I'm sorry RR, TT, and RS... but the most valuable asset you can give to this offense right now, is a solid stalk block downfield.

I'm for this, except don't run out of the shotgun.

Been screaming it all year.

Run it till they stop us.

Not first and 10, getting 4 and throwing Incomplete, then a 4 yard pattern.

Run, run, run, Ridley, Ridley, Blue, Ford, Ridley, Ridley.....

Who knows, our D may have time to rest and make adjustments.

Not a bad philosophy. I'd like to see RS get some snaps at QB and get involved in the running game as well.

It's to the point where we need to be a 70% run team almost to have any success

Ridley is a weapon for sure, but you do not use him the way Miles uses him, Miles philosophy is to keep pounding a team with one bruising back. You will wear the guy down like that, and late in the game when you need him the most he will be completely worn down, and may make a mistake like "FUMBLE".

I don't like his old school mentality, you have 4 and 5 star guys on the sideline that good be getting valuable playin time as well as giving this guy rest, frickin use them, it's just stupid to me the way he uses one particular back. He did it with Hester, he did it with Scott til he got hurt, and now he is doing it with Ridley. If you look at Ridley on the sidelines after a good run he's blowin for air!

It hurts my heart that we can say this about our starting QB, and it be true. It's like saying that would be a good receiver if he could just catch the ball.

Would be for running more. But i would not put Ridley in the category of a Michael Turner.

You are right. This is why it makes no sense not playing the other power back in your arsenal, Ford. He is pound for pound stronger than Ridley and also faster. Not saying don't play Blue or Murphy when he's healthy but neither of them look to be pounders IMO. The only thing the offense does well so far this year would suggest that Ford teaming with Ridley could be very productive come the 4th quarter.
