On quarterback Jordan Jefferson:

"I have had quarterbacks not nearly as talented as either one of these two guys. ... It's an offensive issue. It's one that we need to make sure we correct collectively. ... I've had quarterback's that have not played well ... but they seemed to get better and I suspect this will happen again."

On if Jefferson will start:

"Yeah."

Is he trying to say that the problem isn't the guy who's playing quarterback, it actually has plenty to do with the offensive coaching. If so then I completely agree. I think it doesn't matter who's under center the offense will still struggle because of the playcalling

Yes Les, It is an offensive issue. You need to do the right thing and it won't be so offensive.

This reminds me of when Rohan wasn't getting to play behind Booty. When he came in, there was just a spark the team rallied around. Lee seems to have that same effect. Let's see it.

Heard he was pretty heated at his presser today.

I remember hearing that Rick Clausen was very talented.

I'd really like to hear what that sounds like. I'd prefer it after a poorly executed game with loads of penalties, but I guess beggers can't be choosers. I'd just like to hear what it sounds like when Les Miles loses it.

Well then, if this is the case, you are the head coach. Tell the offensive coordinator which plays to call and which ones to not call.

But what about when he DOES hit them in the freakin hands and they drop it --- two weeks in a row this has been a problem.

Randle is the only one that I do not think has dropped and easy catch that could have gone for a long gain.

Now the short hopped balls from JJ --- well -- that's on him all the way.

In the post game Miles says, "we did it MUCH better all week in practice... but at game time we did not execute"... exactly.

I'm in the camp for giving JL a shot at playing... if he throws the infamous Pick 6 --- everybody will shut up and understand what Miles must know... not much has changed with JL, he's prone to throwing an ill advised out pattern into the waiting arms of a LB/DB that runs it back.

With 75 yards of passing offense --- 2-3 picks, but none for Pick 6, we are still undefeated.... had we thrown a pick 6 per game, we may not be undeated... in fact we'd probably be 2-2 if not worse...

Who knows.... my impression is that Miles gave Crowton a chance to right the ship this year -- he's got all the talent he should need -- but the offense struggles --- Crowton is replaced after the season... I think that's pretty much a sure thing.

Despite our problems I still think we can be 9-3, maybe better... we'll see.

When you have open receivers but your QB throws a bounce pass to them how is that the system?

When you QB stared at a guy that can easily streak for 80 yards untouched, he is so open, but the end result is a sack... how is that the system?
