While I agree the play calling blows, I do think we are over simplifying things because JJ is so bad

it didn't change one damn bit for the one series that Lee got in the game, and it didn't change one bit for the La Tech game last year when Lee started and played the whole game. I have no reason to believe it would change now if Lee were to start.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the playcalling is just too freaking predictable to succeed.

its predictable because jordan is too dumb to know the playbook. it wasn't predictable under flynn.

look, i defended the guy, loudly, all last year, and for some of this year, ITS BEEN 18 STARTS. HE CANNOT DO IT. ITS NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.

all this is doing is pissing away a year where we could have won the NC with even mildly competent QB play.

instead bama is gonna win the west and probably the sec, which gives them even more momentum and adding to this bullshite media "dynasty". we could have cut their legs out THIS YEAR, and ended that shite, but not with fricking jordan back there spiking throws into the fricking ground.

Both of these guys have to play IMO.

I disagree. If a 2 QB system is gonna be used, the second qb should be Shep running the option package, with JL getting most of the reps.

I think both of LSU's scholarship QB's have been effectively ruined. Not sure one is better than the other. Best thing to do is keep both fresh and ready.

All I know is this: when the players are introduced prior to kickoff Saturday afternoon, even though I'd rather JJ sit and JL start, I will stand and applaud. To do less is to not support the Tigers.

I agree that the playcalling is beyond bad. But I think the hope is that Lee will complete some passes that JJ hasn't. For example, late in the game, Shep was open and JJ through the ball into the dirt several yards short of Shep. I would like to think that Lee would at least throw the ball somewhere close to Shep.

hate to say it but i don't think either jj or jlee are gonna be what we want them to be. we just need to figure out which one makes the fewer amount of mistakes and can at least help us get a few first downs. Defense and special teams are gonna have to carry us this year. Just pray to god Mettenberger decides to come here next year.

I believe the next throw was thrown at RRs feet as well. Back to back.

i know you're not, i wasn't trying to imply you are. im just fricking livid right now. i like Miles, but this is fricking insanity.

we ended last year number 112 in total offense.
4 games and this year were 102 in total offense.

and hes not even gonna TRY to change anything. thats all i want, just TRY. something. ANYTHING.

All WR's are going to be required to wear flak jackets obviously.

Even though i don't necessarily agree with the decision.....Im pulling for JJ. He needs a breakout game really bad right now.

And its only Monday guys....this may change by Saturday.

Which is exactly why JJ went back in after JL.

I said this in another thread earlier today.

I think we should all chill. JL will be playing and taking all of the snaps in the not-to-distant future.

Time to support JJ. I hope the kid tears up Tennessee and builds his confidence back.

Here's what's going to happen:

they're going to call some deep pass plays....some=few I would guess. JJ is going to overthrow them like hell, b/c he's gonna be pissed. Don't be surprised to see the ball rocket out of his arms every play, trying to make up for the obvious lack of talent he has at the QB position.

It's going to be the same ole same ole. If he gets more than 100 yards, it's because there's some serious YAC.

There is no guarantee that the playcalling will improve, because it takes the option out of the book, so ....

Not really. They ran it against La Tech with Lee at the helm and Jefferson out injured.

i know you mean well by saying things like that, but, open your eyes man. he's not ever gonna have a breakout game. in 18 starts he's never had a game over 250. hes only had 5 games over 200. hes had 5 games under 100. he has breathless talent all around him, hes been given every chance, HE CAN NOT DO IT. its never ever going to happen. every play he takes is a wasted play.
