ITT: People argue about 4-0.
If our QB situation was even somewhat improved, we'd be able to realistically contend for a national championship. Defense and special teams can't bail you out of every game. You can't just rely on a running game. You have to be able to pass the ball.
Lee had his chance and blew it. It's not to say he couldn't do well now, but we know that Jefferson isn't exactly making decent performances out there. That's easily observable.

LSU fans ARE BURNING DOWN THE VILLAGE because they claim they WANT TO SAVE THE VILLAGE.

One of the top in state recruits (Rasco?) was interviewed for a Shreveport News Paper and he said there was so much negativity around LSU he didn't know what to think.
He didn't say, I'm not sure about the coach, he said he wasn't sure about the fans.
WHY WOULD ANYBODY want to play for us? We Boo'd JLEE (an 18 year old at the time) after he was placed in a no win situation. Now we are Booing JJefferson to get JLee back.
Coach miles might just figure this thing out and win us a National Title this year and I hope he does.
If he doesn't you morons are probably going to get your way and it will WRECK LSU football for a decade, minimum.
Don't worry though, you'll always get to say you bleed P & G, it was just that Hat guy's fault.

JJ27 - you get your rocks off bashing 20 year old kids " we derserve better than JJ". Let me be clear, we need to make a change at QB, and Crowton should have been let go last year. My point is to drop the hate - especially pointed at 20 year old kids and start acting like a man with your words.

We were 5-0 going into the Florida game with the same horrible offense we have now. Our offensive stats last year and so far this year are a national disgrace. We are not booing Jefferson, we are booing the bone head coach we have that for some reason is in love with Crowton and does not want to make a change with a struggling QB. Yes there were dropped passes, but he is still struggling no matter how you slice it up. Make a change at QB for now, if it does not work out then fine. I think all Tiger fans would be okay with that. Stop running the option, gee whiz. Playing calling is terrible!!!!!!!! Give the reins to Gonzales.

i can honestly say i was embarrased to be a tiger fan on sat. night...not because of the horrible play calling, bad qb play or the butter-fingers we have at wide receiver...no i was embarrased because of the so called fans in the stadium...i mean seriously how can someone who is supposed to be a fan boo the team...this is a bad day for a TRUE tiger fan

Agreed. The coaching staff is a national disgrace. I don't boo just because in my opinion you're an inbred for booing, but you are a complete and total pooswah if you coach and cry about booing. Whining about booing fans when you make 4mil a year and coach at the level Miles does says alot about your character and competence. Booing sucks yes, but Miles is a complete joke and is much more detrimental to the career of Jordan Jefferson than booing fans will ever be.

I really don't like to hear people booing college kids, but I'm sure if there were a way to boo just the coach, then the chorus would be deafening.
Again, I'm not in the pro-booing crowd.
But in their defense, I'm pretty sure 90% of the boo birds wouldn't boo Jordan Jefferson's effort.
Of course, there's no way to tell the difference, so the national media thinks we're booing our own kids.

1) we beat more than a couple sec teams last year with an offense worse than this (5)
2) we played a close game with bama last year with a much better bama team and a much worse lsu team last year
3) we raped auburn last year with that worse offense
4) arky chokes against Bamas weak secondary
5) Florida isn't Tim tebow U anymore
Now saying we don't have tough competition.... But come on, we are nowhere near written off this year for any of these teams

I don't understand how any Tiger fan can watch this offense and be happy.
LSU has not put a good offensive product on the field for the past two seasons. The staff is either unwilling or unable to do anything about it. The team has the chance to be an elite team this year if we can get any kind of consistent production out of the passing game.

Some of you bashers are Saban ball-lickers, so you certainly will understand his comments that football teams are a process. Our Offense sucks but with 2-3 of the season to go, we have the chance to improve and are UNDEFEATED so far. Our defense is probably our best ever and can carry us with decent improvement on offense. Remember the SuperBowl Champs Ravens?

This offense isn't going to improve, don't kid yourself dude. It didn't improve all of last season, in the spring, or in the summer or fall. Why the hell would it start now?
And the point about winning with a less than great offense and a great defense is valid, but when has a team won with a completely horrible offense? Because thats what we have, it isn't just ok, mediocre, or below average, it's TERRIBLE

The coaches say they are working on it but there is no tangible evidence to the fans,thus, frustration sets in.Miles and staff have a golden opportunity this week against Tenn to really address team and fan questions. Let JJ play the 1st & 3rd quarters and JL play the 2nd & 4th quarters and make a decision based on their play under fire & pressure. If we continue our present offensive performance we will lose at least 4 games.Les talk is cheap,(however not in your case 4m)results are what the people who pay their hard earned money WANT to see.Stop the BS and do what needs to be done.
