Mike,

I'll do whatever I want, and a win is a win. The more obvious it is and the madder the fans get the more I will do what I want!!

Sincerely,
Les Miles

What makes you think he can read? The pages in his playbook are blank.

It's been a long time since I've read a post like this that wasn't alcohol fueled and incoherent. Nicely done Mike Linebacker.

What if we all printed it out and mailed it to Les? Or at least everyone wrote their own letter. Because you know there's not a chance in hell of him reading it here. This is the one place on the internet that I would never expect him to go during the season.

But if he suddenly got a sack of mail...

well thats great but i think the coaches know what they are doing! jefferson when i watched the game the second time (sober)is doing a good job of changing plays at the line of scrimmage and is throwing very good balls(did you see the bullet to tolliver on the first series! the man responsible for the development of the offense has put 7 qbs in the nfl! 7! keep in mind we wrnt complaining when this same oc was developing a brilliant gameplan vs ohio st dc jim heacocks defense in the 2007 nt game! THE PROBLEM WITH THIS OFFENSE IS AFTER WE GET A LEAD AND ESTABLISH OURSELVES BY TAKING COMMAND OF A GAME IS THEY GET LAZY AND SLOPPY AND LOSE THEIR INTENSITY! ITS THE CONCENTRATION LEVEL OF THE OFFENSE THAT DROPS OFF DRAMATICALLY! WATCH WHEN THESE GUYS PLAY FLORIDA AND THEY HAVE TO MAINTAIN A HIGH INTENSITY LEVEL THE WHOLE GAME! THEY WILL RESPOND AND THE BOO BIRDS WILL BE PUT TO SLEEP!

Wasnt the rant full of these threads after the Vandy game? then again after the MSST game? ...and it just got worse each time didnt it? You have no substance to support your claim.

Great letter Mike.

Some will violently disagree but you don't owe the fans anything.
This couldn't be more wrong. He owes the fans everything. If the fans stop coming to the games, there is no more Les Miles.

Your letter was inspirational. Probably the most though-provoking post on Tiger Droppings that I've read all day.

All of what he wrote has been said by many of us at one time or another over the last weeks and months, it's not new. Maybe he consolidated it in a letter form, but it's the same things fans have pointed out and noticed from the beginning. And yet Les still refuses to change.

Nice letter and I agree with most of it, but to say the offensive line has done a 180 is a stretch IMO. Did yo unot notice how many times the rushed three men Saturday and we couldn't block them?

Great post/letter Mike. I agree 100%.

Credit needs to be given for the defense, special teams and running game which have all been lights out fantastic. One phase of our game is holding back this team from greatness; I sincerely hope the staff mixes things up on saturday. It is our last "dress rehearsal" before the meat of the SEC schedule begins.
