Haven't figured out how to post to pictures yet, but I watched Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey today for the first time in a very long while and it made me remember how much Bill's grandma scared the shite out of me when they were in their own personal hell

Anaconda. I fricking hate snakes.

This guy still shows up in my dreams. In fact because I just saw a picture of him I will have a nightmare with him in it. frick.

and the scene in Raiders where they finally open the Ark, and things go south.

I think the one got me the most was the vampire in the movie theater, and they had that scene where he was walking into the room and wrapped his long arse fingers around the doorway before he stepped in ... damn Nickelodeon didn't know what they were doing showing that shite as the last show on SNICK right before we all went to bed that night, bastards

Is that the wolf character from Neverending Story in that pic?
Another one that hasn't been mentioned yet is from the movie Creepshow. The one Stephen King played in as a farmer with the green stuff, but that isn't what gave me the creeps.
It was that particular Creepshow movie, but it was the story of the Monster in the Box. The dude had the monster kill his wife. That monster used to freak me out.

My sadistic older brothers let me watch Halloween when I was 6 years old. I was seeing Michael Myers in my closet for years as a kid.

Good call on Kane from Poltergeist 2. He didn't give me nightmares, but he is one creepy frick.
Jaws didn't give me nightmares, but when I was a kid I thought about that shark when I swam at night, even if it was just in a pool.
Silver Bullet gave me nightmares as a kid. I absolutely HATED scary movies as a kid, so I didn't really watch very many of them. But Silver Bullet scared the shite out of me.

I had an opportunity this summer to work with Sid Haig on the set of a horror flick. He's a great guy and very nice to everyone. However he definitely radiates a general feeling of anxiety when he's in the room with you. Although he wasn't dressed up in his Captain Spaulding character on our film, I remember two of the background extras commenting that they were uncomfortable being around him even though he wasn't doing anything to them. That's why he's an icon in the horror film industry. His work in The Devil's Rejects gives me the heebie jeebies!
