Losses will not be nearly as grave as expected, but there will be some. Likely around 4 of our starters, only one of those being on offense (whom most everyone is aware of by now). Not gonna name any names at this time but will follow up during the week and share as things progress. This alone will make it very tough for us to win, but I am now back to at least being excited for the game because we do have a shot if this information holds. When it was rumored to be 8-10 players late last week I had gone ahead and blocked the game and season out of my mind as we had no prayer.

Quite a roller coaster us Heel fans are on right now. We probably will not know who is in and who is out until out defense takes the field for the first possesion on Sat night.

I think the problem is the uncertainty. You really can't afford to play a guy if there's even a reasonable chance that he will be deemed ineligible.

Thanks for the info, randy. I'm guessing we'll know a little bit more by the end of the week.

All I know is, I'll be in Section 318 with my immediate family and my LSU family come Saturday evening. I can't wait.

It won't matter who is in or out, UNC has no chance against LSU.

Does this include the two CBs that were dismissed from the team or is it 4 in addition to those?

Thanks for the info, such as it is.

Of course, can't wish you guys luck. We're looking for the Tigers to impose their will no matter who plays for you guys.

I'm happy if all the team plays. I want the win to matter to others. Of course, we have to win first.

"It is likely the review will extend beyond the start of the season," Baddour said at the Thursday press conference. He added that any players involved in the investigation will not play until they are cleared.
The female tutor in question was employed by the university before football coach Butch Davis hired her to work with his high school-aged son, media reports indicate.
"She had been involved in the academic support program, and I'm confident in saying at that time, she was highly regarded," Baddour said in the News & Observer report. He said Davis did not put his players in contact with the tutor.
Practice continues for the Tar Heels in preparation for their opener, and it included a new urgency as the team tried to replace players who will sit until the investigation is complete.

Based on this article it seems pretty cut and dried to me. The players aren't going to play until cleared.

Acting career

West began his porn career in 1978, in the film Mystique.[1] In August 1980 he posed as the centerfold model in Playgirl magazine;[1] he was the first person who posed with an erection.[2] Later he also was cast as Robert Redford's body double in the film Indecent Proposal.[1] He has worked with numerous porn actresses early on in their careers, including Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick. He was the first male performer to work with Victoria Paris and Ashlyn Gere.[1] West's sexual performance has been likened to that of a "human pile driver."[3] He has appeared in over 1,300 films, alongside an estimated 2,500 different female co-stars.[1]

I believe, regardless of the suspensions, UNC will still have an excellent shot at winning the game. Unless LSU's offense is completely different than last year's showing, UNC's defense is still very capable of shutting down LSU, backups and all.
