Probably the fact that its the most white trash element of your fanbase that appears to be the one doing it makes it so bad. None of the more respectable fans I engaged throughout the weekend taunted with this.

I didnt spit in the girls face because obviously thats not right but I had a pretty good buzz cooking and she got so close to my face yelling that shite that it almost happened.

UNC Fans

I wont comment on the game, as there is nothing really left to rehash there.

I just wanted to pop in and see if anyone was willing to admit that there were roughly the same number of UNC fans at this game as there were LSU fans. I got laughed out of here last week for suggesting such.

By my visual calculation from last night...

LSU- 30,000
UNC - 27,500
Neutral 5,000
Empty -8,000

Would also be interesting to know how many of our more fare weather fans bailed 24 hours before gametime due to the news.

Good win Tigers, I had good encounters and discussions with many of you even though I know you were pissed about how things played out in the end. My only negative comment is that the "Tiiiiiger Baaaiiiit" pre-game taunting is one of the more obnoxious and lame things I've ever heard from opposing fans. It seems to only come from girls and younger fans which makes it even more annoying. I almost spit in one chicks face but thankfully held out at the last minute.

Good luck the rest of the way.

just one ole washed porn star is all you get.

Seriously, how could we possibly talk shite right now. Every Heels fans I know has tail firmly between legs right now. Our D will be a shell of what we thought it would be.
it will not be less than 5. take it to the bank.
as for what I am hearing...sounds like our best hope now is that we will get some of these suspensions "staggered" over the season so as not to be completely ravaged for our first few games. I will not name names, but expect a minumum of 5 starters out for the game on Sat.
We sold ~22K through the school and another 5-7K through general sales and local contacts in Atlanta. But again, keep on believin what you want to believe.
love how you guys ask a question then shite on someone with knowledge of UNC ticket sales who answers. Carry on.
prepare to be "stunned".

yeah, losing 5-8 of your best players has a way of doing that.

The activity on IC is on the premium board, not the freebee. Compare how many hits and overall posts IC gets today compared to this board, and I think you will see what I am talking about.

I dont really blame you but I dont think you guys really understand the magnitude of what is going on with our program right now. We have much greater issues being discussed amongst ourselves right now. Talking shite with LSU fans is the least of most peoples concerns. We dont even know who is going to take the field for us in 4 days, so sadly there really isnt much we can discuss with you in regards to this game

none of your fans are on our board. Why is is it on Heels to come here? Insidecarolina is the most active college sports message board in the country. See you Saturday night.

its actualyl against Ga Tech, which is equally if not more important than your game. LSU is national stage and opponent, but Ga Tech is a conference game in our division. Im guessing the staff would prefer to have them back for conference play.
quote:

Apparently, one of the investigators is a former UNC football player. Supposedly he hasn't conducted interviews on-campus in Chapel Hill, but he was involved in interviewing Wesley Saunders (USCe), so he's definitely involved in the investigation.

This is all there is to it. He probably shouldnt have been involved at all but it will have no bearing on any of this and certainly has not clouded things.
link to what? You are looking for news articles? I am talking to people who are connected inside our program.

You can choose not to believe me if you want....doesnt really bother me as after this weekend I will likely never post here again other than to give a "congrats" or a "dont take it too hard guys" swan song early next week.
Look man this thing is changing by the hour and is a full time opeartion for our school and has been since all this began over a month ago.

The "Asheville Times" and other print rags are usually at least a day behind on stuff like this if not more. Im entrenched into this situation and Im just telling you where things appear to be heading now according to many credible insiders. The fact that its Sunday has no bearing on new information in this case starting to leak out.

I assure you our Admin didnt take the day off today. We play football in 6 days and safe to say the decision on which players are and are not playing this weekend is a pretty big deal.

Before this game got pulled was it the biggest lock in the history of football? Tiger Nation has to be LOADED down on this game at a pick correct? Seeing as we have no prayer and all. What the hell was Vegas thinking? With the recent struggles down there at least you had this free cash opportnity waived in your faces.

The CB's were not dismissed. That was a bunk report. They were at Meet the Heels day in uniform yesterday afternoon.

Bamafan, you putting down a 4 digit wager on the Tigers this weekend?

I would bet everything that I own that more than Austin will not be playing on Sat night.
