Well on Comcast it was part of a $5 sports entertainment package and it was DEFINITELY worth that. Now that I am with Direct TV I think it was part of the package I chose.

It really is a great way to kill a Sunday afternoon. On days that I don't stay at the pub all day, this gets me through the 2nd part of the day.

Depends on how big of a football junkie you are.

I spend probably 5 times that on the superfan package, and it is well worth it to me to be able to watch any and every game in HD. The redzone channel is pretty cool. For $40 for the season, I would say that the price is very reasonable.

So you're paying $10 for one Channel and you don't get to see the full game? I pay $5.79 for HBO a month. No way I justify this purchase.

I've watched in once on somebody's elses tv with comcast, i left jealous. For someone whos an NFL fan and plays Fantasy football, its worth it if you are home watching games at least every other sunday or so.

Seems like it would be worth it just for the shitty 3:05 timeslot after the Saints game is over and there is only one game on.

Not this year. I'm taking a break from it. This would have been my 13th straight year.

Seriously? You guys think $40 is expense? That's $40 for the ENTIRE SEASON. $2.35 per week. If you play fantasy football, it seems like the perfect investment.

Why do we have to pay more $$$ for it? Cable TV is a huge money-suck with NO competition. That's how they screw you, again and again. No incentive to work for the customer's business.

NFL Red Zone should be a standard part of every sports tier package for cable TV. NO WAY should it be a premium channel.

Yeah, I'm just saying if you do, it is a pretty cool luxury to watch the redzone channel. (IMO)

I can get live updates on scoring from my computer and not pay $40.

I had Sunday ticket the last 2 years and basically only watched the red zone channel.

It's like crack to a junkie - I love it. And no I don't even play fantasy - I love it for football.
