Whoever looks at the commercials for that garbage and says to themselves: "Looks funny, I think I'll spend money on that" should be raped by gorillas with chainsaw penises.

Agreed but my old neighbor once had a facebook status that said something along the lines of "this new movie Vampires Suck spoofs Twilight, and as much as I love my Twilight, this looks funny!"
Oddly enough, she's very intelligent and going to med school. I don't think she realizes who the two hacks working behind the camera are

one thing is for sure the Vampire theme is all over the place these days!

if you gave these screenwriters a cup of apple sauce and a spoon they'd drown

The real culprits who should be drowned in ammonia are the high school kids who think these movies are a great way to spend Friday night

My hope is their next movie is only shown once in each state in a huge arena and poison gas is released halfway through the movie thereby increasing the mean IQ of the USA 25 points

who knew there would be movies so bad, discussions about them would involve eugenics

What's sad is that all of those movies made good money. They can't take more than 10 minutes to write.

While I like the spirit of the movie, these parody movies have sucked arse the last 15 or so years.

Scary Movie 1 wasn't bad at all, but after that it really went from parodies to just straight up ripping off scenes from movies and inserting someone getting kicked in the nuts, farting, etc.

That is the worst lineup of films I've ever seen. How are those guys employed? There's no way those movies did well at the box office. Who is giving them money? Who is ok'ing these scripts and allowing filming/production to go on?

They don't cost shite to make and all the retards go see them so they rake in a ton of dough. it makes me sad to know that this shite made these people richer than I'll ever be.

i wont go see it though

Maybe the M/TV Board should collaborate on a low budget pop culture reference movie. If these guys can do it an turn a profit, who says we can't?

I have never liked this style of movie, but would go to this one with my wife just to make fun of Twilight.

and you cant blame the studio for greenlighting these projects.
Epic Movie
Opening Weekend: $18,612,544
(#1 rank, 2,801 theaters, $6,644
Meet the Spartans
Domestic Summary
Opening Weekend: $18,505,530
(#1 rank, 2,605 theaters, $7,104
Although I agree when the number one opening movie only tops out at 18.5 is a pretty pitiful weekend, theyre covering profits
if it dont make money, it dont make sense

The reasons as others have pointed out that these 2 retards keep making movies is that:
1) They are very cheap.
2) They actually "write" them, do casting, shoot and post-production in a VERY short amount of time.
3) They can do one or two every year very quickly and cheaply
AND
4) They have all made a profit.
I hate these two frickers.
