Ok so what is some of yalls favorite meals to make or eat while yall are at the Deer/Duck/Fishing Camp. Or just camping for the weekend, anything along those lines.

Fried Backstrap, smothered potatoes, and gravey has to rank pretty high with me.

A good pot of Cowboys Beans is also on the list.

Cedar plank fish. Buy untreated cedar fence boards from Lowes. Soak in water. Take fish (small redfish, AJ's, snapper) fillets that are not too thick. Coat in olive oil and lemon juice. Pre-heat planks on pit. Put fillet on plank, add some pesto to the top, maybe a tomato or peppers. Cook until fish flakes apart. Same thing basically that they do at Ruffinos.

I always do a duck gumbo at our club and the other guys fry duck and put some on the grill. Tasty way to clean out the freezer

At deer camp, we'd have deer steak, biscuts and gravy and eggs for breakfast every morning. Come off the stand, get a bloddy mary and eat a great breakfast. That was my favorite.

Breakfast, usually after I get back from the stand, or blind. If it's just me, a cup of coffee will do; but with a group, eggs, bacon, some type of bread.

Lunch, either a sandwich or BBQ if we're not in the woods.

For supper, we cook lots of ducks in a gravy at the camp. I'd say ducks or fried fish

Yano, we really cook way to much at the camp...

something y'all need to try.. Fried baby back ribs, shrimp w cream cheese, jalapenos wrapped in bacon

but one of my favorite things that I rarely do anywhere else but the camp is to get a cast iron skillet as hot as i can and blacken the hell outta some fish! A true blacken with the smoke and all... Good shite right there
