I get that Lebron and DWade are both "Superstars", but that term keeps getting thrown around about Bosh too, and I really don't think he deserves it. What say the MSB?

+1, granted that I've never dunked before but it seems like you could avoid that, Pierce

Amare.

- no defense
- doesn't even attempt to rebound(8rpg)
- not the greatest low post offensive presence.

- knee injuries luming in his future.

.....i'm with sfp, i'll take bosh.

I'd say Bosh has a skill set very close to Pau Gasols.

Hmm aside from Hilton Armstrong... Duncan, Howard, and Yao Ming.

I just think we throw the term superstar around too much. To me the legit ones are: DWade, Lebron, Durant, Kobe and that might be about it right now. Kobe is getting really close to joining the over-the-hill guys that used to be superstars, but its tough to put Bosh in that category.

I never said hes not all-pro, I just think there is a real distinction there between superstar and all-pro.

I thought the same thing until I saw him play in person. I didn't realize how athletic and how big he was. Being tucked away in Toronto, he has been the best kept secret in the NBA.

Would you consider Gasol to be a superstar? Bosh is a more aggressive and powerful version of Pau Gasol.

Bosh's biggest problem is he puts up nice stats on a bad team. That can be easy to do when you are down 15 and the opponent isn't trying to stop you on every possession. Shareef Abdur Rahim, Al Jefferson, and Zach Randolph have all had good seasons over the past 10 years without any team success. It becomes alot harder when to beat your team also means you have to stop the star as in Duncan, Nowitzki, or Gasol.

I am not saying Bosh is not talented, he is, I just would not call a guy who in 7 years has only made the playoffs twice and never made it to the 2nd round, all while playing in the East, a conference that has produced 2 champions in 10 years. And those 2 champions are probably the weakest in the past 25 years of basketball. Not like the competetion has been difficult, loosing teams can make the playoffs in the East.

I am sure that now with Wade and LeBron pulling him along he will look good, I just don't think the amount he earns compared to his contribution will match. Could have gotten Scola and Boozer instead and won as much if not more with those two. I still think rebounding and interior defense will doom this team this year and maybe into the next few seasons.
