LeBron and DWade were trying to pull down each other's panties on stage. The Heat's bench won't even be as good as we have in NOLA.

I'm not. I'm on board with the idea that all this does is cement Kobe's legacy -- while all the other stars of his era are off parading their starness with absurd melodrama, Kobe is working toward a second 3-peat. And if that star team is lucky enough to make the Finals -- I think Boston, if they brought everyone back, could easily thwart this group if they play as they did in the 2010 playoffs and would certainly cause problems if not -- the Lakers should consistently beat them due to their lack of a bench.

Are they going to play the entire game, 82 times + playoffs? What if one of them gets hurt?

frick no. I don't think they're good enough to get out of the East as it stands now. Until they get some size, I'll say conference finals at best.

Can't win a title when you're getting out-rebounded every game and have no interior defense.

This does make me like Kobe more, I'm not a fan but I do respect his fight more.

i think they are the team to beat in the East. Rather easily.

as far as teh whole league, they are top 2-3

you are talking the 2 best duo of wing players on one team EVER. Matchup nightmares out the arse.

screw all the little shite, the object of basketball is to score more than the other team. This Heat team will be hard to stop.

i think theyll be able to pull in some decent older vets to fill out their lineup & bench. this is an easy shot at a title if youre a role player on your last legs.

They dont really need to. Most games are going to be taken over in the 35-40 min they are on the floor. I dont think they are going to go undefeated like you would think off of all the hype but I would bet they have no worse than the 2nd best record in the league when in comes to playoff time 2011

Are they going to be able to hit enough jump shots? Who's going to rebound their jump shots? I think they'll be outstanding and entertaining, I just think they may fall in the playoffs.

It's hard to outscore the other team when you're constantly losing possessions.

I have a feelling Shaq will sign there for the MLE. If he is healthy he will serve as a body in the paint while Bosh and Lebron grab 18 boards a game

I still like the lineup of O'Neal, Pierce, Allen, Rondo & Garnett

w/ Baby, Wallace and Perkins off the bench

LeBron needs to double as PG and PF. He should be Magic from '79-'91 and then Magic in '96.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought that was their victory parade.

And the Heat won't be able to against an elite team in 7 games. They don't have the size inside to outrebound, guard the paint, blocks shots, etc. Size wins in the NBA, and they don't have enough. They'll be forced to shoot jumpers, and since they have no bigs to crash the boards, their second chance point opportunities will be almost nonexistant. If any of the big 3 gets in foul trouble or injured, they're fricked. They can't play every minute of every game, so there will be huge runs whenever the starters are out.

They need size if they want to win. They have the perimeter fire power, but rebounding , defense, and length is what wins championships now. They don't have that yet. Get it, and they're frickin scary.
