Apparently Jermiah Masoli visited Ruston and Starkville over the weekend. Close connections to the La. Tech program said he had dinner with Livas and few of the players friday night. Told the players he was visiting Starkville the next day and it was down to those two schools or enter the NFL supplemental draft (July 16).....Interesting

I wish LSU would take Masoli.

That is the only way Tech can get a bigtime player.

Going from the facilities in Eugene to Starkville or Ruston....ouch

yeah, espn definitely reported that
it probably didn't take long to realize that the NFL teams aren't big fans of midget QBs that can't throw

Depends on what facilities are in play...the jail in Eugene and the Lincoln Parish jail are probably comparable.

which is why he won't be at Tech. Dykes is implementing a pass happy offense so why bring in a QB who doesn't fit what they want to do

Masoli reminds me of Brent Schaeffer.
eta: Ole Miss could take him too

What year is he? Wasn't he a Freshman or sophmore last year?

WTH is it with Florida? Seems half of their players are ex-cons, but they get to stick around Gainesville.

He's a senior now.

florida has definitely had their fair share of arrests over the years (many schools do), but you don't see UF taking on players from other schools who got kicked out because they were arrested. miss st, tenn, auburn, etc have all taken on ex-gators who were kicked out/arrested over the past year or two. tennessee is the worst, with plunger boy

Don't tell that to Dean, Carr, Bradshaw, Rattay or Roaf. Granted none are extremely recent, but Tech does find some good talent each year. I beleive the the kid from Neville will be a good QB.
