I'm thrilled she is leaving, hopefully she can make UI's band more "politically correct" and "family friendly."

She only got as high as she dis as early as she did by sleeping with the director.

She is a complete bitch who is completely unwilling to work with anyone and takes her own opinion as she knows better than anyone else and is unwilling to budge no matter what.

She is the one responsible for both Tiger Rag and Oh We Oh being pulled.

LACK OF DISCIPLINE...thats what makes the Tiger Band what it is. Look at all of the other bands that we compete against. They all, for the exception of Tennessee, lack discipline. Their marching, music, and ability to energize like Tiger Band lack.

i served her yogut at tcby about once a week for 2 years back in the late 1980s. she never warmed to me or cracked a smile and i was pretty good at making friends with frequent customers.

I played in Tiger Band in '89 and '90 and was also recruited by her some in high school. I never had a problem with her intensity about being a part of an excellent program and all that it entails. I never had a single complaint about her.

Of course, I can only speculate about her reasons for leaving, but it seems to me that it was obvious that, for whatever reason, LSU had decided that she had gone as far as she was going to go. She may be taking a lateral position at an program that cannot be said to be better than the one at LSU's, but at least they haven't yet sent her the message that she's gone as far as she's going to be allowed to go over there. As a former member of the LSU Bands family, it definitely marks the end of an era. Whether or the program gets worse, better or stays the same from this point, the program truly won't be the same and the successors to both Wickes and Moorhouse will inherit a high bar that has been set.

Oh...and if she was responsible for getting rid of the Oh Eee Oh, thing, then I thank her...it was dumb. If only she could have gotten rid of Neck before leaving...
