Stanford and Fullerton are playing an elimination game on ESPNU right now.

Obviously, we need to take care of business tonight (and throughout our regional), but certainly Fullerton being eliminated from their regional is the first step to the Tigers hosting in the Supers. Fullerton loss today + 2 consecutive LSU wins and The Box comes back to life next weekend.

You pointed it out but LSU has to focus on TCOB tonight. A win tonight is a huge step into being able to successfully come out of the regional. We don't have the pitching depth to have to play 3 games after tonight so Tigers need to WIN! Geaux Tigers!

im not really sure , but is stanford ranked higher than we are? if so, they host the super over us even if we sweep the regional. they don't reseed after regionals

We need to handle our own business and we're ranked 23 in Baseball America, Stanford unranked (same as the ESPN/USAtoday polls)

The Super would be up for bid if UCLA and Fullerton lose. I'd like our chances against Stanford, and obviously we'd host over Minnesota or New Mexico.

Poll rankings don't mean anything. And we're ranked higher anyways.
