Some [link=(great games)]https://www.lostlettermen.com/2010/05/top-10-top-10-biggest-college-football-chokes/[/link] on this list that I remember watching. I think these games are proof that college football is more exciting to watch than the NFL in the regular season.

Why was the Jamie Howard game against Auburn not in there. Even the top 10 choke list hates us.

Totally disagree. College product is 1000x better IMO. NFL, week in and out is boring as hell. I watch the Super Bowl, about it ...anymore. Used to be an NFL superfan.

This. That was the biggest jaw-dropper in LSU history. 23-9 lead in the fourth quarter, at Auburn. We had knocked out Patrick Nix and true freshman Dameyune Craig was backed up near his own goal line, scared to death. They wouldn't have gotten to midfield. Un-schmucking-believable.
Hallman and Amedee should have been fired.

I'll never forget that POS Amadee throwing Jamie Howard under the bus in the papers the next day. If I recall correctly, the quote was "he lost us the damn game".

Way to go coach...way to go. I don't suppose that play calling played a factor.

2. No luck for the Irish (1974)
Notre Dame boasted the No. 1 defense in the country in 1974, so any kind of lead had been a safe one. Against arch-rival USC, a 24-0 lead late in the first half all but assured a victory. But the defense would have no answer for USC’s Anthony Davis. He scored a touchdown just before the half, then returned the second half opening kickoff for a touchdown. He’d score two more times during USC’s 35-point third-quarter onslaught helping the Trojans eventually win 55-24. The last we checked, USC was still scoring in that game.

This was the game I remember. Anthony Davis was probably the best RB to never make it big in the pros. Biggest mistake he made was opting to play in the WFL.

Anyone else notice Minnesota's on this list THREE times for choking. Amazing.

I'd like to give a shout out to the Auburn kicker that missed five FGs against LSU.
