At home what fish do you prefer to fry up if relying on getting it from a local seafood place such as Tony’s or others?

Growing up it depended if we were fishing off our pier or if dad took the boat out, then we cooked flounder, redfish or snapper.

Catfish would be the only fish I would buy to fry, if fresh caught I love speckled trout, bream, sac a lait, white trout, flounder,

Bream, bass and catfish are my favorites, deep fried.

I like to pan saute speckled trout, flounder, snapper and, sometimes, redfish.

Going along with the catfish discussed. I offer Swai fish. Has anyone tried these? I have and love them. They are basically a Vietnamese catfish. More of a river fish than the regular catfish. Supposedly. Anyway I just love the damn things. We buy then frozen in an individual package, and they still taste good. They are shipped from God knows where and frozen for God knows how long and I can grill them or pan saute them and come out great.
