Interstingly, there is another documentary about the Whites on Netflix that has the 'Save' feature. I guess it will be on there at some point in the future. It's called "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia."

Born Into Brothels hasn't been mentioned. That is also pretty great.

I just bought Cocaine Cowboys, so I hope that's as good as people here say it is.
I posted in a documentary thread last week these three that I'd recommend to anyone (especially sports fans for the first two):
Tyson (2009)
Magic and Bird: A Courtship of Rivals
The King of Kong: A Fistfull of Quarters

I agree. I think his later work is pretty awful, but Roger and Me is simply a love story to his hometown of Flint. I don't think the current Moore could make this film, particularly the sympathetic portrayal of the sherriff who evicts people from their homes.
I watch Moore's work as an opinion column rather than a documentary.
He's a great filmmaker, just not a good documentarian.

Why can't a documentary BE an advocacy column? It's not a balanced piece that strives for neutrality, it is often an argument and a plea for action. I think a documentary that is so slanted it distorts facts becomes worthless, but almost every documentarian is a passionate advocate of their topic. I want my movie to have a point of view.
