"Marc Berman of the New York Post has an idea of who that impact player could be. He cites the New Orleans Hornets as a potential partner in a sign-and-trade deal that could send superstar point guard Chris Paul to the Knicks in exchange for power forward David Lee, a player that Berman writes the Hornets "are in love with."

That seems like a pretty crappy rumor not worthy of a premium account. Chouset has already leaked that he is adamant about building around Paul, and Paul for Lee is retarded. What other pieces do they even have, they stripped down to go after FAs and seem to have given away all their 1st rounders for the foreseeable future.

Everyone does that. Everyone thinks CP won't re-sign. Everyone thinks the Hornets are in some dire financial straits.
He doesn't talk about sources except to say the Hornets like David Lee. Every team likes David Lee.

GET USE TO IT. This will be the talk for 2 years, no matter how well the team rebuilds, just like the Lebron/Cleveland situation.
