So, Phil Mickelson, with his ailing wife Amy finally able to attend, wins the Masters . . . while Tiger Woods, with his estranged wife Elin elsewhere, did not win.

The moral of the story?

Sink putts.

I agree.

While I think it's an interesting juxtaposition, it has nothing to do with karma or any of that stupid shite.

If it was Karma Tiger would have broke his leg on the first drive and his golf career would be over. Instead, he finished 4th.

I like this better than the karma explanation.

Yeah, I think Tiger will enjoy his $360k or whatever he gets for 4th.

Would it survive? Of course. Would ratings plummet? Of course.

TVBythenumbers.com points out that Tiger's injury in 2008 that for took a major bite out of viewership levels during the entire season. Year-to-year, the 2008-09 PGA season was down 46.8% in total viewers versus the 2007-08 season with a playing Tiger Woods.

Tiger doesn't enjoy ANYTHING about that 360K (or whatever it is he won). You just don't get what fuels him.

BTW.......If Tiger is worth 500 million, winning $360,000 is equal to a guy worth $500,000 winning $360.
