This doesn't have to be according to wins and losses pct....could be just a season that may have been special to you for whatever reason. I will say mine are as follows:

1. 2003 football - never experienced anything like it

2. 2006 basketball - wild and amazing ride and every game was fun to watch. The SEC, with LSU and Florida and Tennessee and Bama, was a string league.

3. 2007 football - The Florida and Auburn games highlight a season of incredible highs and just a few lows

4. 2001 football - Getting back on top and the trip to ATL - unforgettable.

5. 2009 baseball - How sweet it was...to beat Tejas in the finals. Negatigers tried to ruin it...but hanging tough was the right move. Ya had to know that Tiger team was gonna do it.

6. 2009 baskteball - Almost every home game was great - even the loss to Xavier (not so much vs. vandy)and it was great watching Marcus and Tasmin doing unbelievable things.

7. 2006 football - A national c'ship team that didn't win the c'ship. A THRILL of a season, especially the Arkansas and UT games.

8. 2008 baseball - The win streak and the closing of the old Box...this season was a certain precursor to the 2009 c'ship team.

9. 2000 football - Just because we were winning again and the UT overtime game was my favorite in TS of all-time.

10. 2000 basketball - Was a lot of fun and a ride that ended too soon, but from mid Jan through March's beginning, that was maybe the best team in the country besides Michigan State.

Yeah, those count as lows for me. But that's just me.

good list. I am glad you added the 2001 football season near the top. It was just awesome the way we beat Tenn in the sec champ game then killed Illinois in the dome.

It was about the worst I could have felt after that Arky game. What made it worse was that me and some buddies were going camping and have a great time right after that game. Put a damper on the beginning of the trip, but we got drunk really quick to make up for it.

2003 Fooftball is my favorite, just never had a season like that and it was also the first season when me and my wife started dating. We went to every home game and it was just a great season.

2006 Basketball- The tourney run especially, never thought LSU would get that far, what a great ride.

Those two stand out for me.

I have to say I'd put attending the 2008 and 2009 Super Regionals at the Box (old and new) above just about everything else. Football is great and always a favorite but for these two events I'd say they are probably near the top.

If you truly love college baseball, those were probably the apex outside anything the CWS offers.

Top 5
1. 2003 Football
2. 2007 Football
3. 2006 Basketball
4. 2009 Baseball
5. 2006 Football

2001 Football ended the year great, but just remembering the Ole Miss game that year reminds me how frustrating that team was for much of the season.

2009 Basketball was a blast, too. However, sliding the way we did after clinching at UK, plus getting an 8 seed in UNC's region for the tourney, let a lot of steam out of a great season.
