What to do with a ton of mint?

I just moved into a new house and one of the outdoor flower beds is full of mint. I don't use mint often, but I would like to take advantage of all of this fresh stuff. Any ideas? There is no way I will be able to use it all. Any ideas for ways of storing it or using it in something that I can store?

we have this same problem. house we moved into last summer has a flower bed full of mint. wife made a hot mint tea-like drink with it (steeping the mint in hot water, i think). I used it a few times in wet rubs for shrimp, chicken, etc. worked pretty well.
got to watch that stuff; spreads like crazy. stuff is all over my yard, mixed in with the grass. only upside is that i get a nice minty fresh jolt whenever cutting the lawn... ...very refreshing.

This is the correct answer. He can throw a few mojitos in for kicks as well.

You and the guy who wants some tzatziki sauce a few threads down should meet.

you can actually infuse the mint IN the bourbon/whiskey. Just pour yourself a drink to make room and then shove the washed mint in the bottle.... and then proceed with the mint julep party....

what you should is dig up 2/3 of it, keep the remaining in check b/c it takes over everything, and use the new free space for some basil, parsley, etc.

I am going to add some cilantro to that bed. It's pretty cool. There is a mini-garden in the back that I thought was barren, but I have 3 huge italian parsley plants and about 8 or 9 strawberry plants.
I read online that you can freeze mint. Does anyone know if it holds up?

You will eventually need to kill most of it or it will take over your garden. It grows like kudzu.
