Good one.
Feel stupid for not noticing immediately since it's obvious looking at them side by side, but it took a long time to figure out that Jared Harris was:
Russell in Igby Goes Down
plus Vlad in Happiness (can't find a picture).
=
Lane Pryce in Mad Men
He's just a really good, versatile actor I think.

Sean Patrick Flannery also played Young Indy in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. I know I'm not the only one that watched this every time it came on as a kid.

I'm always amazed to see him still acting. It feels like he ought to be deader than Abe Vigoda. He's been around forever, and he looked old 50 years ago.

I can only hope I age as well as he does. He's about to turn 90, and he was just in Hugo looking not THAT much older than Sir Ben. He looked practically the same as he did in LotR from 10 years ago.

In the weirdest out of nowhere cameo I've ever seen on TV.
I was watching the series The Guardian (2003) on Netflix and suddenly Will Ferrell shows up for about 20 seconds as a new lawyer named Larry Flood with the legal-aid clinic, he says a few lines about a chick in Wyoming...then the elevator door opens and some kid shoots him in the head. That was it. The show never talked about Larry Flood again.

alright, this one might have blown my mind the most, because I have easily watched BOTH of these movies HUNDREDS of times.
I present to you.
Carl from Billy Madison...
in...
that's right you got it. He's the "bonehead" that Mr. Buehller is trying to get to spend the money while waiting for a cab right outside of Chez Quis.
I don't know how I've seen these movies and never caught this.
If you spotted this you're a better man than me!

it's not that he's in other movies, it's that I've seen these movies multiple times without noticing

Jared Harris, btw, is the son of Richard Harris. Jared also played Moriarty in the second Sherlock Holmes movie.

That doesn't look like the same guy to me. The first one is very tall -- played Kramer in "Jerry."

That's not the same actor. He is a staple in John Hughes films (was the cab driver in Planes and was not grey then).
