I'm gonna take Marquette. I don't want to take Washington, have them lose by 10-15, and then be like "you knew the pac 10 was awful why the frick did you take them?"

Statistically it's a pretty even matchup.

RPI:
Washington - 41
Marquette - 50

Kenpom:
Washington - 29
Marquette - 28

Vegas line has it at a pick-em:

In my completely unbiased opinion , I say Washington wins. They have won 7 straight, 12 of the last 14, and get to play on the West Coast in front of presumably a very favorable crowd.

marquette has to travel all the way to california for this game and will probably play in front of a huge washington crowd. i like the huskies.

Marquette. I don't care what the RPI says. Washington played in the PAC-10 and Marquette had to play Syracuse, Georgetown, ND, WVU, Pitt, Nova, Xavier, Florida State and Wisconsin.

One team is battle tested and the other is not.
