At yesterday's game, Coach Mainieri came over to the "student section" to talk with us. He told a story about how when he played LF for LSU, someone threw a hotdog at him during a game at Miss St. Several years later, while coaching at ND, he gets John Grisham to give a speech to his team. After the speech, Grisham went up to Mainieri and said, "by the way, that was me who threw that hotdog."

Coach Mainieri is the man!

You mean he isn't a colossal dipshit like Miles?

Weird.

Les Miles isn't in Paul Mainieri's league when it comes to being outgoing, but I still wouldn't say he's a dipshit.

Sarcastic seems more of an appropriate word.

"Coach Mainieri is the man!"

You better be careful and not get thrown off the Rant because Rantards hate all LSU coaches because they have to work in the same building with the hated Les Miles!
