That means that 56% would rather see a World Cup victory. Also consider the time that this poll is taken - during the Winter Olympics. Take this poll in June and you will see an entirely different result.

I think it's fair to say the NHL is bigger than the MLS too, that coupled with this being the Winter Olympics, I'm surprised its not more than 44%.
