Gavin Webster, Mr. Football, Mr. Friday Night Football, is going to Southeastern Louisiana University and RIVALS.COM says this recruiting class is No. 1 in the nation in the FCS. Webster only accounted for over 4000 yards of offense and over 60 touchdowns in his senior year alone. SLU has a winner!!!

Guy without a position really. And, who knows how good he would of been at QB without Jarvis Landry.

As someone who has watched Lutcher for years it never seemed to me that Webster's productivity was dependent on Landry.

In the passing game I'd say Landry helped him out there a lot. Webster is a baller no doubt, but I think there's a reason no BCS school thought to offer Webster with Lutcher getting a lot of national attention because of Landry.

yeah, and we shall see how they end up in the standings. Rivals standings for I-AA schools is a joke and shouldn't be considered. Most of the kids that are signed are just added like adding to a roster. No stars. No information. Nothing.

Anyhow, SELA may finish higher than McNeese this year due to lack of experience at QB, but they'll continue to finish behind the Cowboys on a consistent basis.

Come on Pro give SLU some props. They have a good coach who is doing some great things for SLU and the northshore area. The new addition to thier Stadium is pretty nice for d2.

I don't think he has even qualified to go to SLU, that's why he didn't go D1

It amazes me the amount of people who call themselves college football fans that still don't know the difference between D1 and D2.

No offense ProminentOne, but Briscoe is great until the pressure is on. He got tight and played bad in Central's 2 biggest games over the last 2 years. Briscoe is good, but struggles when something is on the line.

I agree that Briscoe is a better thrower. Webster is more elusive, but Briscoe is a better runner then most think.

1-AA, not D2, big difference, not too much in talent, but alot different in number of schollies available.
