Yes, the Democrats actually asked him to contact the attorney general.

We have a bunch of dumbfricks here in this state. In the kinked article the spokesperson says that who dat does not belong to the NFL but it belongs to the who dat nation.

Can anybody show me where the NFL stated that who dat belonged to them

NFL kinda had to whoa up on the Who Dat stance. When one party has to clarify a position, it's because they didn't do a good job of knowing what the hell they were talking about in the first place.

Okay again you obviously never read the letter, and I quote.

quote:

"The new Orleans Saints are owners of several federal and state trademark regestrations. Those regestrations include but are not limited to the saints club fleur de lis and the who dat word mark."

right there they lay claim to the words "who dat".

They are essentially saying anything associated with the Saints (fleur di lis, black/gold, etc.) that has "Who Dat" on it is theirs.

That would be like LSU trying to shut down every operation in Baton Rouge called "Tiger Plumbing" or "Geaux Sports" that uses purple and gold.

For anyone who wanted to see the second page of the letter.

Threepeat I bear you no ill will I just don't get why you keep calling everyone stupid when it was you who missed the whole point of the letter and thinking that these shop owners just made this shite up. The letter clearly mentions who dat, and I think you owe some apologies.

Good anology. It actually becomes free advertising. The NFL is schtupid.

Thanks NolaZack. I guess one could fight all day long about the exact meaning, but in the end alot of people percieved this to be a threat by the NFL.

I wonder why the NFL didn't care when the Saints were 3-13? Hmmmm

Go Piyush! Way to hop on the bandwagon.

Now somebody has to tell him they're not a cricket team.

So Bobby is standing for the Little Man against the Corporate Interests, eh?

Be nice if he'd do the same with regard to his education budget cuts.
