So he's spent the last two years preaching about cutting wasteful spending, slashing the education and medicare budgets. Now he's looking at spending millions of dollars on "Who dat"? C'mon man...college students are getting the shaft but as long as it creates positive publicity he'll okay it.

Meanwhile, the country's 13 TRILLION dollars in the hole, writing hot checks all over the place, the state can't meet the demands placed upon it because it's quite simply too freaking big itself and trying to be too many things to too many people, suffering from the same lack of industry and jobs, and yet the answer from the left is to raise taxes, which in turn stagnates and turns away jobs and industry, and maintains the same old same old, placing us even deeper in the hole. Somebody has to bite the bullet Zantrix, and as far as most Louisiana citizens are concerned I think it's fair to say that they would much rather that be the state than them and their families. Tough times demand tough answers, and you can be that those who feel the pinch will be making noise, but the fact remains that someone has to get hit here. The concept of big government money bags with an endless supply of money to fund our every desire is a costly lapse in good sense.

Left or right, cutting education was a very bad move. People can cry about taxes but regardless taking the money out of education was a very bad move and will just put us further behind the other states.

It's always going to be a bad move Nola, depending upon who feels the pinch. You can count on it, but the fact remains that we can no longer afford to live in the cloud of delusion that we can continue to live beyond our means the way we have for decades now and not pay for it. We are learning this the hard with on all levels of government, or let me say I hope we are finally.

It demanded it, but I guess you have to give a shite in the first place efrad. Hey, don't sweat it. Go drink another beer and put some red beans on the pot.

I do give a shite, but there's a time and a place for it. Don't try to mix football and politics.

I didn't. Someone else did, and I don't subscribe to the "just ignore them and let it go unanswered" crowd. I don't believe this is the venue either, but I'm not going to let half baked BS go unanswered. I mean believe me, if I wanted to talk politics, the PT board is much more informed. I came here to talk Saints, not interject my political beliefs. All I did was answer an idiot who thought it was a good idea.

No. You injected your conservative politics where they didn't need to be. Pack your shite up and head back to political talk. That sort of talk is not respected and/or wanted here.

Boy, you're thick headed. Read the dialogue brick head. Three guesses why you didn't condemn Zantrix.

Not everything is political. You don't have to be a democrat or a republican to like the saints. Jindal is a big football fan no matter what

This. There's a reason I stick to sports. It's the one thing most Louisianians can agree on.

Wrong board. Go to "Political Talk"

In the kinked article the spokesperson says that who dat does not belong to the NFL but it belongs to the who dat nation.
Yeah, but you "dumbfrick" that was AFTER they pissed off a bunch of coon asses and realized how bad they had stepped on their dick. It's called damage control.
And now they say they only meant if it was used in conjunction with some other NFL or Saints trademark. Gotta raise the bullshite flag on that one. If you believe that they didn't really thing they owned the phrase "Who Dat" , take a look at the Fluerty Girl shirt that apparently resulted in the letter

That actually wasn't the shirt. You are right on the other stuff but it was the #whodat shirt that started this it has a fdl like the Nola city flag in the "o".
I'm on a phone but I'll see if I can find a pic I had put some up.
It's upsetting that people came through here talking tough and can't come back and admit when they were wrong.
Also judging by what I read earlier that will be the last time I mention politics here.

Mignon Faget and Friend and Company have been doing fleur de lis jewerly forever. The NFL will lose this suit if it held in NO.
