I wasn't trying to imply anything like that. He definitely looks like he could be solid with some work but it just was surprising and seems out of nowhere. He doesn't seem particularly quick from that vid, but I'm no pro. I guess all the negativity that has been on this board recently might be starting to get to me. It is good to see someone from Slidell getting some attention by LSU though.

well to be fair, petrino isn't a world class recruiter and doesn't have the cream of the crop to aim at right now

Okay what was Hester rated? Lets not slam the kid for not having enough stars. Do we know how good the Slidell QB was? What kind of system did they run? And if I remember correctly Petrino runs a pretty wide open passing offense so the kid must have some intangibles.

I go by what Rivals, Scout, and ESPN rates these kids, and he isn't rated very high.

If you go by others opinion, then we don't want your fricking opinion, especially if its negative.

F the stars. He's about on the same level as Fobbs. Both guys are not locks to make big contributions. Fobbs has become extremely overrated on this board.

None of our WRs in this class are on the level of Hunter or Davis. Those are the facts.

This thread is absolute proof that stars do in fact matter to some of you. Same kid with one or two more stars and you people would be excited.

Mother fricking

Hunter will be a bust.

petrino knows recivers though...he'd probably coach them better than us, but it makes me feel better. of course this is not a commitment i was expecting and of course am a little let down. trying to be a little positive though.

See how stupid this sounds?

This is a very true statement. I wish more posters would just shut their mouths about recruiting and appreciate the hard work some of our fellow tiger fans do to keep us all in the know a bit more than we would be without the RB. Most people come here to learn a thing or two (myself included) and need to keep their negativity to themselves.

I saw some film a few months ago and he looks like a player. Very fast and can catch everything you need in a receiver Welcome Armand!!!!

He's a jumper, I believe.

He's probably 6'2+, around 190.

Looks really strong on tape.

Spot on Dan.

He's the sub for Hunter. Boone will be the sub for Davis. Fobbs is and always has been a take regardless.
