I was more thinking about the angle of UT's recruiting being set back about 2-3 years. This class will certainly suffer. Overall, it'll set the program back at least 2 years.

And Alabama and LSU both play Florida and UT the next two years. So it really doesn't matter at this point.

Kiffin is a creep and a tool. It's better to have him not in your conference IMO. Only a matter of time before he ruined Tennessee and damaged the conference. Here's hoping Slick Rick Neuheisel pwns him in L.A.

Honestly, once the shock dies down, this is great for UT. Kiffin was gonna get that team slapped with probation. Now, they can go out and hire a real coach. ANYTHING would be an upgrade.

LSU needs a strong UT, since we don't play them all that much. They serve as a counterweight to Florida and Bama.

Okay Sarge.
Alabama and Tenn. play each other every year just as LSU-Fla. Every loss for Bama helps LSU. Since Bama and LSU also play each other every year, that means one of them will have a division loss. If one beats the other but loses one other division game AND an East Division game, the head-to-head is negated. So theoretically, Bama could beat LSU (LSU's only conference loss) head-to-head, lose to Ole Miss AND Tenn. and LSU would still be West Div. champs even though Bama won the head-to-head West Division matchup. OK?

I ain't sayin' it's gonna happen, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up at LSU after all.

How about the fact Bama plays UF and UT the next two years and so do we.

How about we beat them all? As far as we know,
in 2 years Nick Saban could be the coach at Tennessee and Sean Payton could be the coach at LSU.

There ya go. If we take care of our own shite, nothing else will matter. Win the SEC and you're practically guaranteed to be in the NC

The more I read about Kiffin, the more I hope he fails. The guy has done nothing. He is arrogant for no reason at all. (Spurrier and Saban at least have accomplishments).

espn.com has several good commentaries for those who might not have looked there yet.
