how about we just beat alabama and not worry about what tenn does.

Miles Worshipers are saying it doesn't matter if we beat Bama or win the SEC West anymore. We are unrealistic to expect Miles to beat more than 1 top 25 team in 2 years. As long as we win 8 games a year Les should be given a lifetime contract.

I guess this is the culture we live in. Doesn't matter if it is true. Just say it enough and with enough volume....

Well you have bought in completely.

Do you understand that there is a world between tar and feather and worship?

At any rate, I'm bracing myself for a 4- or 5-loss season next year because Les Miles is our coach. I think Alabama, who is coached by Nick Saban, will finish with a better record.

Wanna put that in your sig quote, Jaydeaux?

Alabama and Tenn. play each other every year just as LSU-Fla. Every loss for Bama helps LSU.

Yeah,....but bottom line is that in a late season scenario where LSU and Bama are both top-5 teams(But not necessarily top 3) with NC aspirations there is a good chance that if the SEC West comes down to who wins the LSU-Bama game, it doesn't matter much if Bama loses to UT. In fact, it would be more beneficial in the polls for LSU to beat an undefeated Bama team rather than a 1-loss Bama team.

You're assuming that Lane was a good enough coach to beat bama. I don't know if that is such a widely held idea.

UT doesn't realize the favor that was done for them. Unless they hire a dolt as HC.

This. He was a bad hire for UT.
