UT's permanent SEC East opponent is.....you guessed it....Lord Saban & Co.

LSU's permanent East opponent is Florida.

It is definitely in LSU's best interest for UT to be good enough to hand Bama a loss once in a while. Makes our chances of getting to Atlanta much better.

I hear LaneKiffinIsAMonsterDouche.com is available.

You're assuming that Lane was a good enough coach to beat bama. I don't know if that is such a widely held idea.

maybe..maybe not

I was more thinking about the angle of UT's recruiting being set back about 2-3 years. This class will certainly suffer. Overall, it'll set the program back at least 2 years.

UT doesn't realize the favor that was done for them. Unless they hire a dolt as HC.

No. No it is not. Short term it sucks, but long term it is great if they get someone like Leach or Will.

Kiffin was only going to get them on probation.

Sorry, this board has determined that is not possible. Probably forever.

UT will better without kiffin than with him

this will achieve your goal

do you people seriously think Tenn won' be able to find a coach as good or better than Kiffen?

I understand this logic, however this is the least of our worries at this point!

I think he would have been good enough. You have to admit that he had a pretty good staff around him. His dad is as good a defensive mind as has ever coached. And Coach O, love him or hate him, can recruit like a demon.

That loss is easily his greatest accomplishment as a head coach....

UT's next coach will be far better and likely quite a bit more mature than Lane Kiffin. What's bad for LSU is if a very good, qualified coach goes to Knoxville instead of going to LSU in one or two years when we might be looking for a new coach.

I don't see why anyone in the SEC continues to recruit. Seeing as Alabama is clearly going to be the top dog for the rest of our lives I think we should all become women's basketball fans.

The really bad for LSU if O tries to take Marsh away from us. I hope Marsh knows about O and the possibilty of probation at USC.
