Do you lay off him early in next years draft? Isn't there something about if RB's have x amount of touches in a season they usually do bad the next year?

Id take him in a second. But shite does change quickly. AP was consensus 1st pick this year and turned out to be 5th or 6th best RB. I guess top 5 aint bad though....

It's the curse of 370 carries. Not sure if there is a touches curse. It is definitely to be feared.

It's 370 carries - receptions are not counted. The little dude had 358 - it's close and he is little. He looked whipped after the 30+ carries yesterday.

Last 370+ victim: Michael Turner.

it will be interesting. He might be the least physical high volume carry/touch guy in a while. Will the relative lack of punishment he takes mean he can survive the curse, or will his slight frame do him in?

i'm sure jeff fisher and the rest of the staff realize that this guy is special and that they need to preserve him for as long as possible for the next few years. Also, the Titans had nothing to play for the last 2 weeks and were basically giving the ball to CJ so that he could get to 2,000. That probably won't be the case next year as they will probably be saving him from a heavy workload as they hope to make the playoffs

of 370 carries?

i think 358 carries and 50 catches qualifies for all practical purposed.

According to the people that came up with 370, receptions are not considered - they do not have the same impact. It's the rule dude! Now abide!

Plus he really didn't get that many carries in most games. It was only when 2,000 was in reach when they started feeding him the ball a dangerous amount. He only had 7 games of 25+ carries.

bullshite

No one is #1 next year right now. You don't know what's going to happen in the offseason. Deangelo Williams had a similar second half to CJ last year. Ryan Grant did the same thing the year before. I think that CJ is definitely a top guy next year, but you never know what moves will be made in the offseason.

i have no idea who to take.

i have the 1st pick in one league. 0.5 ppr, 6 point passing tds, and crazy yardage bonuses. 12 team league.

you need a great QB in this league....i'm really tempted to go QB first, i don't know.
