WATCH ESPN???
Posted by Born A Tiger83 on 9/7/13 at 6:25 pm
Apparently with my service provider (Cox) I can only watch ESPN3 material and not ESPN U.
Does anyone have a work around for this?

Who's responsible if not the head coach?
I would say the person failing the drug test is responsible. If I fail a drug test at work, I cant blame my supervisor for it.
I guess you think Miles can follow him around 24/7

Hey guys, I am trying to pick a wedding date for November of 2013 and would HATE to be that girl that picks the Alabama/LSU weekend so is there a rule of thumb where it is always the first Saturday of the month of November or anything like that? Or should I just skip the first 2 weekends just to be sure? Thanks!
My wife and I got married the last weekend before football season in 2007. We wanted to go on our honeymoon and be back in time to see the opening game on Saturday. LSU ended up playing Miss St on Thursday night in the NCAA opener that year so we got back just in time to watch the 2nd half of that game! I wouldn't schedule during football season.

I would call them the baseball version of VCU a couple of years ago in March Madness. Have some solid players but I dont think enough overall talent and depth to get past LSU. Their Ace threw 215+ pitches in 2 starts in 4 days. His arm might fall off this weekend

easy. Do what Julius Peppers Did at UNC. He joined the basketball team after football was over with.
Much easier for Peppers back then. UNC was horrible at football. They were done in mid December instead of mid Jan

If he's not a starting CB I'd be all for it. At the very least, though, I think he's probably the nickel back. I know plenty of DBs have returned punts, but how much gas would he have after chasing WRs up and down the field for an entire series.
+1

But its probably what we are stuck with!

It is unfair to compare the "intelligence" or decision making ability of 3 seniors to a sophomore. And you dont know how good Garrett is till hes in the game under pressure. To use practice or highschool to judge how well he'll do vs UF, Bamma, UGA, AU, etc. is irresponsible.
I am not saying that Garrett is the answer, I am just saying that JJ is not the answer

So that would logically make him the best returning QB in the SEC?
and I left out mcelroy with his 140 rating and 61 % so he is probably the 3rd or 4th best returning qb

I think this is the main problem... look at our national title years and the quaterbacks from the previous year. 2003 qb. matt mauck smart intelligent player.. not necessarily the most gifted athelete on the field but could make the plays that needed to be made. 2002 qb marcus randall. 2007 qb matt flynn. again, same type of qb as mauck.. intelligent with the football and made good decisions. 2006 jamarcus russell. amazing athlete and ended up being the number 1 draft pick. I dont care what kind of athlete you are if you cant make good decisions on the field (insert jj) or off the field (insert r perrilloux) so if cg is more intelligent with the football give him a shot.

Same crap like have a 135 QB rating and completing 61% of his passes?
which puts him where in the SEC?
tebow(uf) 164 rating 67%
mallet(ark) 153 rating 56%
todd(aub) 145 rating 60%
cox(uga) 136 rating 60%
hartline(uk) 114 rating 60%
snead(ole miss) 124 rating 54%
lee(msu) 107 rating 59%
garcia(sc) 119 rating 55%
crompton(ut) 136 rating 58%
smith (vandy) 88 rating 47%
(middle of the row is where)
I think he was talking about taking sacks, horrible clock management and just overall bad decisions with the football.

If you don't mind mediocre, then LSU should not pay 4 mil per year for a head coach - that's way too much money for mediocrity IMO
completely agree
re: Tim Fletcher response to the Crowton thread - Crowton Staying

Lets hope the rumor is true and Crowton is gone tomorrow. Who would you like to see hired as the new OC at LSU?
re: New OC?

Take a poll of LSU football fans and see if they want Miles or Crowton or both fired right about now.

Maybe we can send Crowton or Miles there for retirement

1) We wouldn't need them to run our offense and 2) They wouldn't come here because of our offense.
I'm not necessarily completely talking about implemnting Leach's scheme here, just saying that his situational play calling is much better than Crowton. I completely agree that we need to be able to run the ball and need to keep those recruits, but he would be the OC not the HC

if you were a good RB as you say there are a plethra of... would you want to go play in the rolling hills of west texas or play at OU or Texas or even A&M or another BIG school? They just broke 30,000 students for enrollment for the first time ever!

quote:Do you know who was taking carries for us in the Capital One Bowl? our 4th string RB... our 4th string RB is better than any RB Texas Tech can recruit... Thats why they didnt run the ball not to mention the field conditions and the horrible offensive line at the Cap One Bowl
You HAVE to be able to run the ball.
