Was listening to Crowton on the radio after the game.

He was talking about "next year" and how he is looking forward to having an improved offense. He actually said that (paraphrasing), "Jefferson has shown great improvement over the year," and he looks forward to Jefferson as QB in 2010.

What the f'ck is this clown looking at?

Jefferson has looked f'ing clueless all f'cking year. He hasn't improved one iota from DAY F'ING ONE. I don't like saying anything bad about a player, but JJ is f'ing clueless. He'll NEVER be a winner at LSU - or any other school.

If we go into the season with JJ as the starting QB in 2010, I'm just going to sell my tickets. It's too damn painful watching JJ QB my alma mater. If we would have had even AVERAGE QB play this year, we'd be playing this coming Thursday.

Thats a stretch. We had many glaring problems. I dont believe JJ was the among the worst of them.

JJ isn't going to light up the scoreboard. However, what would be nice is to have the play in with plenty of time so that he could audible at the line of scrimmage. Look how it worked out on the last touchdown. He was able to look at the coverage and aubile to Lafell. Let's give hime more opportunities to recognize defenses. This goes back to our horrible coaching that sets our players up to fail.

JJ's play is one of the last things we need to worry about concerning this team.

This year, the easiest way to spot a fan with absolutely ZERO football knowledge is to see who attempts to blame Jefferson for this season's ineptitude.

WTF is the deal with everyone hating on JJ? I dont think he did that bad. He did make mistakes but I think his stats are pretty darn good. IMO he didnt have enough opportunities to throw the ball but that just goes back to play calling and no identity on offense. Someone want to post his stats? Im too lazy.

Great?

I don't think so. Good enough for us to compete for the west the next 2 years? Possibly.

JJ can only run the plays that are called. He did not choose to run option to the short side 10 times a game. We also had trouble on the offensive line. The biggest problem I see with Jefferson is his ability to stay in the pocket. I think if he learns to not drop back too far and move up into it most of his problems will be corrected. Unfortunately playcalling will be horrendous under crowton

i mean he did go 8-4 this year..... im not saying i love the guy at qb but to call him out like that is just terrible, i didnt see what i wanted from him at all but he definitely was not the only problem on the team

JJ has flaws, BUT, if you were LSUs QB would you want to be closeer to the LOS with our Oline? He prolly has 0 trust in the line or the plays being called.

THe guy doesn't even get the f'ing CONCEPT of the option play. I'm sorry, but my pee-wee QB at least knew the CONCEPT of the option play. It's clear he doesn't have a f'ing clue. It's not rocket science. Yet, the entire year (including in the CapOne Bowl) we had to watch him "skip" down the line, running his RB out of bounds and then making a piss poor decision every time.

If you can't get the CONCEPT of the option play, there is no f'ing way you'll ever be able to read a defense.

Right. If he improves his pocket presence, he'll be a lot better.

Part of the problem with him not being able to step up is that our interior lineman were getting pushed around all season.

I believe we will see better line play on both sides of the ball next year and JJ will make crisper decisions.

Kinda hard to run the option when you only have 10 yards of field to work with. Just saying.
