That's 128,250 gallons of water if my math is correct, at 1,070,280.122023 pounds.

Water depth is only 4ft. So that would be 51,163.2 Gallons of water at 427,724.35 lbs.

Oregon's four losses!!

Posted by tigerjag24 on 8/16/11 at 9:05 am
I rarely post and i'm not sure if this has been mentioned but here’s another view of the Oregon/LSU game. Since Chip Kelly has taken oven in 2009 Oregon has lost a total of four games. Those games were lost to Boise State, Stanford, Ohio State and Auburn. After a looking into this a little I found a common them with all four of Oregon’s losses. Each one of these teams had more than one week to prepare. Boise had all summer, Stanford had a bye-week and Ohio State had the bowl prep layoff time. The same goes with Auburn. The only team that Chip Kelly has beaten with more than a week to prepare so far is New Mexico State. And it’s very obvious that the talent levels of those two teams differ immensely. In conc So with that said hopefully the trend will continue with the Tigers on top.

9/3/2009* 7:15 pm at #14 Boise State L 8–19

11/7/2009 12:30 pm at Stanford #7 L 42–51
Stanford had a bye-week

1/1/2010* 2:10 pm vs. #8 Ohio State L 17–26

1/10/2011 5:30 pm vs. #1 Auburn L 19–22

This thread is hilarious!! A bunch of back and forth about were high schoolers sign to play football. Sometimes I wonder if any of you guys just realize that y'all are just fans and not actual players or coaches. Anyway congrats to all recruiting class in the SEC. It's gonna lead to a more exciting future for competition in SEC play. Even though I consider myself a die hard LSU fan and want them to win every game.
P.S. To all you Auburn fans, I understand your optimistic view of the future. But in my opinion and from what i've seen from y'all recruiting practices first hand (Y'all staff wanted him bad and fed us so much B.S. But there was kno way we were letting him by into the promises even with the offer$. Plus the town of Auburn sucks arse.) I would say to look to the future with concern.

For what its worth, it didn't look like he was making much of an impression. Mom took a phone call in the middle of asked that "we are with USC", like she wasn't even sure what Ed's name was. I'm sure with everyone recruiting him its pretty hard to remember the name of every coach you talk to.

Sorry to tell you this but dude you're wrong. The HC does matter!! See Warrick Dunn and all of the other blue chip recruit that left LA before Saban put a fence around it.

His SEC record should bear more weight then the overall W-L record. He's 8-8 in the SEC over the past 2 years.

What's his overall SEC record since he's been at LSU?

Name one thing bad that you can say about Miles character since he's been at LSU.

re: My take on things!!

Saban was an arse to players when they screwed up. Miles wants to call them over and whisper sweet nothings in their ears.

quote:

Treat these guys like men- chew them out when they mess up and demand excellence. That's what we demand of Coach Miles and when we lose games because of poor clock management and poor schemes, I want to scream.

And by the way i met Les Miles recently and he was a total dick... But I would not have cared if he had won last week.

Miles and Saban are two different people. Why do you want him to do what Saban does. For some reason this guy pulls in great recruits year in and out. And please don't give me that he recuits like he does because he's at LSU crap. So something must be right cause if not these players would be going elsewhere. IMO!!

But he's been a head coach for nine years. Does it really take ten years to determine whether or not one is a great coach?

He isn't. We all know it. Some of us are over it and cheering on the Tigers while waiting for our next coach to arrive (he'll likely be hired in December 2010).

Im only concerned about his time at LSU. His record is 51-15. But don't get me wrong I don't have any Les Miles blinders on. I just think he deserves more credit than he gets. For instance, if he would have left in 07'. Would we have a national championship for that year?

First off I’ve never seen this board so split down the middle.

IMO Les Miles is a great guy and a good coach. Whether he's a great one IMO will be determined next year. I’ve met him several times and to me he seems like an okay guy. Sticks to his morals and has integrity. In 2011, I’ll be very confident when La’El signs his LOI that Miles will turn him into a man and not just some football player.
But it does confuse me when he speaks the way he does on TV because he doesn't speak that way when I'm around him. Maybe he’s camera shy. But he’s paid to coach, not be a great public speaker. When it’s all said and done next season will tell it all. For me it’s all or nothing. He’ll have no excuses. Experienced D and O but if he is fired expect a lot of 2011 recruits to out of state.

Everyone is saying we could have easily been 7-6 this season but no one is saying we could have easily been 11-1. 1 inch further and 6 inches to the left we would have lost the MooState and Arky games but in reality 3 seconds more and two blown calls by the refs and we would have beaten Bama and Ole Miss. But none of you negatigers are saying this. Every team throughout the season has some sort of luck (Alabama and Florida this year), this year it just didn't go our way.

It amazes me at how people on here bash the players, especially JJ. Point is he was a 1st year starter and one of the youngest QB’s in the nation. Can anyone name a team that has 10+ wins with a 1st year starter that’s under the age of 20? Have any of you that’s bashing ever played a down of college football let alone high school? Give the guy time to develop. But hey the 2nd string QB is always the best QB.
Well seeing that I've known him for all his life I don't care what any teacher says. He's going to LSU. The only way he doesn't is if there's a head coach shake up.
Just trying keep him humble and on the right track. Things are really starting to heat up. Coaches calling like crazy.

One of his teachers who also happens to be my mother and an LSU fan. Not saying he's not coming to LSU. We just can't take it for granted and need to stay on top of him.

La'El isn't going anywhere. Whomever gave you this info is wrong. He'll be a tiger. There's no way we let him go anywhere else.

The only way La'el doesn't go to LSU is if Miles leaves or is fired.
