The only obviously better guy in the league is the Raiders punter. He's all-time good. I think San Diego's guy is good too.

Those are both afc guys but i still dont think he'll go. Players and fans are gonna vote for guys theyve heard of. Coaches might vote for him though

I know Donnie Jones from the Rams and LSU is regarded as one of the best. Like I said, I don't know anything about Punters or Kickers for that matter so I can't give honest feedback on either

I have no clue about the competition, but I don't think he gets bonus points for the great kickoff work in the punter category.

Well that has to do with how good the Saints offense is in my opinion.

True. I remember a couple of times he has put it inside the 10. The one where Roby made the play on it, it landed on the 1, FWIW

NAY

he has had some great kicks, but he's too inconsistent. as he grows in the NFL, he seems like he will be one of the best, but he has shown a few times that he is still a rookie

Well for 1 he only punted the ball 45 times while most of the other punters in the league had 70 to 80 punts except maybe 1 or 2 full time punters....plus he has great hangtime

He's 11th in the NFC in average per punt.....and 13th in the NFC in net average per punt.

It it sort of unfair for a punter to be on such a great team...

Of course punters like Donnie Jones are going to be great, they put 14 times a game.

But if you had to vote on situations, Morestead has consistently done his job.

He can erase most field position differences, he has consistently gave our special teams an opportunity to recover the ball within the 20 when he needed to.

This dude is really really good. The crazy thing is he is only a rookie! I like when he kicks off and they make the tackle, he is down there helping everyone up and patting them on the back.

He is a great asset to this team and I extremly happy that the Saints did their homework and drafted him.

I hope he will eventually learn how to kick field goals as well and he could be the total package, lol, wouldn't that be great?

Actually, he is a good FG kicker. He kicked and punted for SMU.

He didn't kick off for SMU. Seems to have adapted pretty well. He'll only get better with time. A wise use of a 5th round pick.
