Going to Dallas game, and would like to grab an early dinner. Looking for something relatively nice. Is this possible? TIA.

Tommy's and Cochoun both look pretty good from their websites. Wished they opened before 5:30, might be cutting it kind of close with a 7:20 kickoff.

Herbsaint although I am not sure when they open
Sunray grill is probably open all day and is pretty good.

I think this is a very wise choice - it might be the only quality place that isn't like a zoo.
The Dome is gonna be a zoo no matter what, so it wouldn't hurt to get a little calm before the storm!

Rio Mar (seafood - great ceviche) and A Mano (house made pasta and meats) are both opening early to accomodate the game. i have not been to A Mano but it is owned by the same people as La Boca and Rio Mar. Rio Mar is one of my favorite places in the Warehouse district. You will not be disappointed. Prices are moderate and they have a website.

Can you bring kids? Does it have a place to sit away from the bar?

Rotolos and Italian Pie are both close to the dome but both will most likely be packed all day.

+1 Luke. The service isn't great...but you can't beat the 25 cent oysters and 1/2 priced drinks EVERY DAY from 3-6. I have heard the food is very good...though I've only had the oysters. Oh...I did have the fries once and they were terrible and soggy...but I've heard their fries are great...so it must've been an off night.

They have a nice sitting area around the bar and in the lobby. Swizzle Stick even though a hotel bar is fairly formal and quiet. I personally wouldnt want a bunch of kids running around.

No need to cut it close....Domenica is open all afternoon and only a couple blocks from the Dome.
