c'mon, if you had to choose between the two as head coach of LSU -- today, who would it be?

Miles....and you're not that funny.

Dinardo. he is a smarter football mind and was decently organized. his overly stubborn ego led to his demise. Miles is a complete idiot who has been "faking it" by hiding behind his talent.

Dinardo's loyalty to bad assistants killed Dinardo. He was a good coach otherwise.

I'm leaning this way.
I'm not convinced Miles could have ever "Brought Back the Magic" the way Gerry did his first couple of years. The program was really on life support then, the way many folks here don't seem to understand.

there is no way miles could have led a rebuilding project
who in the fanbase would ahve gotten behind les?

Miles actually realizes when something isn't working and tries to change it. If Dinardo were here, we'd still have Malvito running the D.

Miles, but I don't think Miles is a geat deal better. I think they are both in the botton 30%
of SEC coaches.
of SEC coaches.

He's my choice between them as well. The program was dead when DiNardo was hired; he went above and beyond in rebuilding, beginning with the Bring Back the Magic tour across the state to drum up interest in the program as well as re-establish a recruiting base.
I'll always appreciate what he did for LSU, which was get the program off the ground, breathing and running again.

there is NO WAY Miles could have turned a loser into a winner here. he's on his jolly way of doing the opposite.

Rantards always give themselves away when they compare one coach with another, basing their choice solely on won-loss records, as if every team starts the season with the same talent and the same history.
ETA: Dinardo would not have lost that game on Saturday.

Dinardo inherited some pretty good talent too - Kennison, Howard (an experienced QB goes along way in your first year), Northern, Gillyard, etc.
