I just spoke with gridiron club member and he said that if Miles was to lose to Arkansas and the bowl game he would not be fired. He said LSU cannot afford to pay Miles and a new top notch coach.

I knew it. the only hope at this point would be Michigan paying the buyout and LSU actually making money in the deal.

we cant afford it without cause. LSU needs to trump up some cause like some small ncaa violation like over practicing or some shite

Hoping we get rid of Crowton and get a good OC than can cover up for Miles deficiencies is the best we can hope for.

He's already a multimillionaire - why stick around here and subject yourself and your family to the verbal abuse he will be taking in the media/talk radio?

Then he would remove any remaining doubt that he was a complete fricking idiot. Nobody would step down and walk away from 15 Mill.

Tho this cat is right.

Believe me. I'm not the richest kid on my block, but I was a gridiron member for a year and dropped it cuz it was a waste.
That's realatively inexpensive compared to what I donate. I doubt this guy is a top booster and I seriously doubt he knows any inside info

Maybe the embarrassment will make him quit... So much that a man can take. Give him 5M and say goodbye!

Yeah, I discussed this last night with my wife. He's very much a family-first man (to his credit) unlike Saban who is work first (to his credit as well).

Miles could decide he doesn't want to deal with the pressure/frustration/anxiety of such crazy expectations.

Yes, but Les Miles can be fired "with cause" and we owe nothing ... or a much smaller negotiable amount.

Things are in the wind.
