Here's the difference: I don't remember that game or that play ... what was the final score in that game ... wasn't it 28-14?

But here's the difference -- that was a non-call by an on-field official ... not reviewable. Perhaps a poor exercise of officiating subjective judgment, but, nevertheless, a "bang bang" play. On this past Sat., you had a replay official sitting in a booth w/ all the time in the world to see what was clearly an interception, and make the right call. Rather than do that, he made the conscious, deliberate decision to IGNORE what was plainly in front of his face, for whatever reason: agenda? Gutlessness? Alabama bias? I mean, yeah, that all sounds like Oliver Stone conspiracy nonsense, but .... what other explanation is there?

Nice post but what about the other 4 or 5 calls that benefited Alabama in this game? Seemed like every call and non-call went only one way in this game. A little too much to call it just poor refereeing of this game. The word "shafted" that you used in your post is appropriate. A few well placed calls are all it takes to make a close game a win for one side. That seems to be what happened this past weekend.

What about in 1977 when one of my dad's sperm cells clipped another sperm cell and got to the endzone and there was no flag thrown? Damn get a freakin life.

Actually I remember that play... You did have a view where you could see the ball hit the ground. I was all pissed off because even though you could see it was clearly not a catch, I was sure the refs were going to give it to Bama anyway...

PP play was a pick, it was bad call, it did not alter the outcome of the game.

And you know this as a fact how?

Your as retarded as little Nicky. Anything can happen in football.

Was it over when Georgia scored to go ahead of us?
Was it over when Miss St. had it on the half foot line 1st and Goal?
I could go on and on..You never know what would have happened, cause it did not play out.

How do you know that?

It's a terrible example of your larger point. It was NOT a catch. The picture is as clear as day. It's as clear as PP's play that was in fact a catch.

The non-PI call I'll give you, but that drop is a terrible example to prove your "larger point."

hey bama truth, if you actually watched the game there were 6 or 7 bad calls not one dude. bad spots? spearing? facemasks not called? INT not called? should i continue? are you that naive?

LSU gets screwed

and again

and yet again

I do not have videos of the block in the back or the defensive pass interference on Peterson on the 2 point conversion try. However the pictures are out there. Also the pics of the bad spot on the 4th and 6 after the running into the kicker penalty on LSU. Are sec officials that corrupt and dumb? i think so. A 5.5 yard penalty? YEP. Pathetic.

I will give you kudos for admitting the wrong call was made and that there was the possibility of us going down the field and scoring. All the other gumps say it was not an interception and we wouldn't have scored anyways!

The point is, you play this game long enough, you'll get shafted by the refs. Guaranteed. You got your shaft three days ago. We got ours before that. We lived with it. Now you get to. On one shallow level, I'm empathetic, but not sympathetic. Tough luck. No apology offered.
No that is not the point.

Here's the point (as I told you on your board):
Subsequent to every instance of blown SEC officiating your attitude seems to be the attitude of the beneficiary of the bad call. It's silly, shortsighted, and counterproductive. The LSU game is done. Bama won. Bama would likely have won had the play been called appropriately. The call was unfortunate for both teams. Apologies, empathy, sympathy, explanations, and/or excuses will not change the fact that LSU got cheated and Bama's win tainted by incompetent officiating.

The SEC is far and away the top football conference in the NCAA. Money is rolling in. The SEC is awash in it. Major league money is also changing hands over these games in Vegas. Avoidable officiating ineptitude under such circumstances is flatly inexcusable. Yet that's exactly what we have. It may not be corrupt, but it's at the very least an invitation for corruption, and that needs to change.

I don't know. Our BU QB took it 59 yrs and scored with a backup RB on that great Saban D. Why not 68, it's only 9 yards more? I think MO would have been on our side after the INT. I wish I could have had the opportunity to see it happen.

The way I see it, my argument has as much proof as yours.
