Bad call.

LSU shouldve had the ball on your own 32. Maybe you then drive 68 yards with backup QB against a defense that surrendered a grand total of nine yards in the 4th Q. More likely you don't. But still, you're angered about the bad call and I don't blame you.

Refs blew it and Bama got a break. Guess what? I don't feel guilty about it. How guilty do you feel about 04 in Tiger Stadium, when your DB shoved our WR to the ground in the end zone and got the pick. Ron Franklin and Mike Gottfried flat out declared, "bad call." That call changed the game. Nick was your coach. Remember that?

In Tuscaloosa, 2007, our WR made a great 4th Q catch which was overturned, possible game changer. Blatant bad call, we were every bit as furious and cussing the refs then as you were last Saturday.

The point is, you play this game long enough, you'll get shafted by the refs. Guaranteed. You got your shaft three days ago. We got ours before that. We lived with it. Now you get to. On one shallow level, I'm empathetic, but not sympathetic. Tough luck. No apology offered.

It's a good rivalry, regardless. I'm glad the Saban nonsense is over with and we're back to regular football. See you next year.

You do realize there was visual evidence of the ball on the ground.......

I hate how you Bama fans come here still talking about something that had no effect on your record!

Seriously, it's ironic that on day 3 more Bama fans are insecure about it than LSU fans.

Interception was a bad call. Helmet to the chest of Jordan Jefferson right in front of ref was BS. Holding by the face mask against our D-linemen all game long was BS but hey hind sight is 20/20. Suck my arse

What about in 97 or 99 when the refs let the clock run out while not letting LSU run a play from the bama 3 yard line because bama had an injured player on the field.

Ah, but a "no penalty" can not be reviewed and overturned. No one is mad that the referees on the field got the call wrong, we are mad that the review booth got it wrong when it was CLEARLY an interception. The review booth is there to make wrong calls on the field RIGHT. It has it's limits (can not review a penalty) which is why the call in 2004 was not reviewed.

There's a difference between screwing up a call in the middle of the action and screwing up a call that you have 2 minutes to review.

The fricking CBS camera had that very view from the end zone. I do like how you're trying to bitch about a play where, CLEARLY, the right call was made.

What about the 3 others.
1. Spear no call with the ref looking straight at it that took our qb out of the game.
2. Holding and block in the back on the Julio Jones catch adn run for a TD. THAT WAS EVEN A WORSE CALL THAN THE NO CALL ON THE INTERCEPTION.
3. The pass interference on the ball that was 10 yds out of bounds that kept a drive alive for bammer. - IF you don't like that then reverse the no call on toliver.
The point is there was way more worse calls than that one that was missed just go look at the film and pics. That is what angers people.

The '04 bad call wasn't reviewable. The missed pic was. I'd like to know what the guy in the booth did or didn't see that led to his decision ro let the play stand. The '04 official made a judgment call, admittedly one that look like it favored LSU. But there was nothing that could be done to correct it. Saturday, there was.
