You mean the ones where he basically ok'ed that shitty call your team benefitted from? You're ok with that?

Nicky boy can quit sucking up to the officials. He got his call which could have been game changing. He said we would not have won the game because we would have had 70 yards to go against his impenetrable defense. Anything could have happened, a slip by a defensive back, a blown coverage, etc. He seems to forget when we played Iowa and on the last play of the game albeit helped by two offensive holds on our defensive backs, Iowa completed that long touchdown pass to win it. He also forgets the Auburn game when we blocked the extra point and the officials flagged us for an illegal play which was not called again in the NCAA that year. He wasn't saying anything about how the officials had a thank less job then.
I would love to have seen if the shoe was on the other foot and his beloved tide had lost the game on a blown call. The Alabama sideline would have been littered with broken headsets. Maybe that will happen in the SEC championship game. It's so easy to say bullshite like he said when the calls go your way and you are the recipient of biased officiating. I used to have more respect for him but I can see he is a prick.

s a Bama fan, I just want to say I think you guys have a class act for a coach. His statements yesterday impressed me a lot. I wouldnt trade Saban for him, but I do have a ton of respect for him now.
I would prefer if you hated his guts, then that would mean he is doing his job to perfection.

7-7 vs 14-0 in the SEC (regular season) over the last two years will do that.
it's convenient how you cherry pick the worst selection to make miles look worse than he is. what about his record this season or the ones prior to last season?

A. Who has he beat this year?
B. You mean the years he coached with Saban's players?

Miles = Coker, been saying it since he was hired.

The game where the exact same call was made against LSU as was called against UGA? No, why?

UGA & LSU? No ... we each got an excessive celebration penalty that I thought was dumb. We marched down the field and they had more time AFTER our touchdown to try to tie it up that it took us to score our last td.

not looking likely. coker got worse every year he was at miami. miles' team had issues last year but he appears to be fixing them this season. kind of deflates the coker theory.

keep in mind there is plenty of talent on defense coming back next season and it won't be chavis' first year so the defense looks like it will be solid for the next few years. the offense has been improving the last few weeks. next season there is some sick, young talent and an established coordinator.

they still could have tanked but didn't. explain that.

Hurt Jefferson and Scott out could very easily mean losses to Ole Miss and Arkansas. That would leave Miles with a 7-9 record the past 2 years in the SEC. That happens to be the 2 years he's had 100% his players.

Ok, let's do the last three years, since Saban has been HC at Bama:

Saban: 18-4
Miles: 13-9

Saban: 2 SECCG
Miles: 1 SECCG

So in three years, Saban has gone to as many SECCG as Miles has in 5.

And to be fair, Miles has 1 SEC title and Saban has none in that span so far...but he obviously has a chance this year and has seemingly grabbed hold of the West overall.

So yeah, if I was a Bama fan, I wouldn't trade Saban for Miles either. No honest person would.
